Homes people ask me about in Langley
- Newer townhomes and houses. Willoughby and Walnut Grove are where a lot of the newer family homes are. Many are strata. Lenders still want the documents, the fees and a clear picture of the property.
- Established neighbourhoods. Murrayville, Fort Langley and parts of Langley City have older houses. Some lenders ask for more paperwork, or an appraisal, on an older home.
- Brookswood and Aldergrove. Lots are often larger, and some properties feel more rural. Wells, septic and outbuildings can change which lenders will even look at the file.
- Suites. A suite in a family home is common here. Lender rules differ on whether that income counts, and on what they want to see first.
