Homes people ask me about in Burnaby
- SkyTrain condos. Metrotown, Brentwood and Lougheed are where a lot of the newer towers are. The strata documents, the fees and any rental or age rules in the building are what lenders actually read.
- Townhomes. Around Brentwood, Edmonds and South Burnaby, townhomes are a common step between a condo and a house. Lender rules still depend on the strata.
- Houses and suites. Burnaby Heights, Deer Lake and the older streets in South Burnaby still have houses, and many have a suite. Lenders do not all count suite income the same way.
